What prompted us to reimagine the page?

From FY 2021 to FY 2022, the demand for research funding at the University of North Texas grew rapidly, increasing from $250 million to $360 million. Despite this growth, students face significant challenges in finding relevant information, leading to mistakes and delays in applications. In 2021, only $50 million was awarded, and even with higher demand in 2022, only $42 million was awarded. These issues highlight the need for a streamlined, efficient research page to support students in navigating the research landscape and securing necessary funding.
